PRA Community Award: Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

The PRA Community Award is open to charities, community organisations, voluntary groups, social enterprises and community spaces operating within Hertfordshire and North-West London. Organisations must be able to demonstrate a genuine need for trade repair or maintenance work.

Nomination & Selection Process

Nominations are submitted via the form on the Community Award page. All nominations are reviewed and moderated by Roger Amada before being considered for selection. Roger's decision on eligibility is final.

Selection is made by Roger and the PRA team each quarter, not by public vote. Selection considers the impact the organisation has within the community, how the practical support will benefit the people who use the space, and whether the work can be completed within the scope of the award.

Assessment Visit

Prior to any work commencing, Roger Amada will arrange to visit the selected charity's property, either in person or, where necessary, by phone, to assess the scope of work. Based on this assessment, Roger will determine what is achievable within the allocated time and materials available. His assessment is final.

Scope of Work

The award covers up to 12 hours of skilled trade work, equivalent to three months of donated time. Work may include plastering, rendering, painting, decorating, and carpentry, at Roger's discretion. The scope will be limited to what Roger considers manageable and appropriate within the time allocation. Roger reserves the right to exceed 12 hours at his sole discretion.

All materials required to complete the work must be sourced and covered by the charity. Roger is donating his knowledge, skill, and labour only.

Access & Scheduling

The charity must provide full access to the relevant property. A mutually agreed date and time must be confirmed in writing before any work is scheduled. Failure to provide access on the agreed date may result in forfeiture of the award.

Photography & Promotion

By accepting the award, the participating charity agrees to photographs being taken during and after the work. The charity may also be asked to provide a short written or verbal overview of the work completed and the difference it has made. Roger Amada / PRA Plastering reserves the right to use photographs, reviews, and project details on the PRA Plastering website, Google Business Profile, and in future promotional materials.

General

Roger Amada / PRA Plastering reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The award is a voluntary initiative and does not constitute a contract of service.
